Real Life Vs. Writing Life

My First…

So my story ideas, the good ones at least, revolve around the supernatural, in one capacity or another.

The Grave Watcher should be my first release, and it is definitely a supernatural thriller, with romance elements.

The current project is called Love Letters (working title). Haunting, demon possession, and schizophrenia. It is definitely a supernatural thriller, but could fall into the romantic tragedy category.

Somewhere in the back of my psyche, and the notebook, I’ve been outlining another story. I have no working title as of yet. It is a supernatural romance, no ifs, ands, or buts. There will be ghosts, and the occasional digging of body parts, but yeah it’s all romance.

Do you see the progression? Yeah, me too. Omg don’t let me be a romance novelist. Even a bad ass one with sexiest beard since A.L.

I’m not admitting anything, except to say I bought my first romance novel last week. I’m going to read it all the way through, even if it becomes painful. As it happens, I am acquainted with its author and she told me it may not be for me. She did me the service of reading my kid lit title to be released in the next week or two, so I decided hers should be the first romance novel I read. You can get it here.

I look at it like I’m just dipping my toe in a vast ocean, not cannonballing into it, but who knows.

My Brother’s Stinky T-Shirt (kid lit) will be out in the next week or two. I miraculously found a fantastic artist to design the cover. You can check her out here. I couldn’t be more pleased with her work.

A quick thanks to all the new subscribers, your support means so much to me.

I’ll see you around the asylum.
